Introduction to Pilates Program
This program includes four (4) classes that last a period of two weeks (2x per week). This program will educate you on the STOTT PILATES method and equipment so that you can receive the full benefit of participating in all of our group classes. You will be working out on all of the equipment throughout the program so come ready to move and enjoy learning all the amazing things that STOTT PILATES can offer you!

Mat Pilates
This is a high level, fast-paced class conducted on the floor with mats. It helps students progress to more advanced levels of fitness by incorporating complicated and challenging exercises that require flexibility, strength and endurance.

Athletic Conditioning
This class is incorporates several pieces of the STOTT PILATES equipment and will focus on endurance, strength, and agility. This is a perfect workout for anyone up for a challenge and is sure to help anyone increase their fitness level.

Reformer
This is a class conducted on the versatile STOTT PILATES' Reformer, a specialized piece of equipment that allows students to work out using spring resistance. The class covers the basic principles of Pilates, allowing students to work at a comfortable pace to help build strength and flexibility.

Reformer +
This is a class that incorporates all of the STOTT PILATES equipment including the spring wall, stability chair, reformer, and mat. It will vary each time you take it and will surely give you a challenging, fun work out with a lot of variety.

Advanced Reformer
Learn to use the various reformer components and accessories to intensify reformer repertoire and provide a stimulating workout. Exercises in the Advanced repertoire require greater strength, stability and flexibility. Also taught - Muscular initiation and sequencing of Advanced level exercises, Multiple variations for variety and intensity, 70 exercises

Mini-Flex Ball
This is a class conducted on the floor with mats and the STOTT PILATES Mini-Flex Ball. It involves all of the STOTT PILATES Mat repertoire with an added challenge using the ball. It will challenge your body and incorporate exercises that require stability, strength and endurance.

Jumpboard
JumpBoard is an intense Pilates workout that focuses on interval training. It involves the STOTT PILATES reformer and is sure to get your heart pumping. It includes several sets of cardiovascular endurance and also integrates all the specific qualities and benefits of resistance training. It is a fun way to challenge your body and do something different!

Injuries and Special Populations - ISP
Learn to customize workouts to address weaknesses, health conditions, postural problems or injuries (but not to diagnose specific injuries). Topics covered in this lecture/demonstration class include:

Approaches to rehabilitating an injured musculoskeletal system

Anatomy and biomechanics, dysfunctions and pathologies, and exercise modifications in the: lumbo-pelvic, cervical, upper quadrant, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, ankle and foot regions

Pregnancy, fibromyalgia and other special conditions plus workout design

|
Appropriate modification of Matwork, Reformer, Cadillac, Stability Chair and Barrel exercises |
